The way I’m itching to write this book! 😩 Not until October, though… 😔 I have to stick to the plan, no matter how hard it is to wait.

You’ll meet Josiah in Chasing Nicole, which I’m 50% done writing. He won’t appear in Loving Amari, as I’m setting up Carla’s ascension to goddess level in preparation for my Black Charmed-themed spin-off of the Blackwood witches (Angie, Carla, and Anora). This spin-off will officially close out Wintermoon for good next year.

Josiah has a thing for curvier women—Layla, his fated mate, and her curves are what capture him at first sight. But their story begins tragically. This will be one of the darkest books I’ve ever written in the Wintermoon universe . It’s going to take a strong woman to tame Josiah’s madness.

Can voluptuous Layla handle him? Or will the task drive her to madness in the process?

It’s been a minute, but I’m sliding back into Bear Shifter-ville for a hot minute! 🐻✨ This time, you’ll meet Tristian’s cousin from Chasing Ebony. He’s part of the Frost Clan, recently integrated into Wintermoon, and… let’s just say he’s not handling things too well.

That all changes when he meets his fated mate, Jackie—a plus-sized fashion influencer who empowers women to embrace their curves and discover their own unique style. Jackie boards the Wintermoon Cruise looking for a much-needed escape from the real world. What she doesn’t know is that her fated mate is waiting on board—and Wintermoon is about to become her forever home.

Life has been lifing, but I’m back on my grind!

Here’s a little update on what I’ve been up to behind the scenes:

I’ve been deep in vampire ville within Wintermoon these past few weeks—swooning over Bobby and Nicole, while loving the action and chemistry between Damon and Selene 🩸🖤.

On top of that, I’m gearing up for my first book signing event in just two weeks! I’m equal parts excited and nervous, but I can’t wait to meet some of you in person ✊🏾📚. I was hoping to finish Resisting Damon in time to have print copies ready for the event, but it’s looking like that won’t happen. Whomp whomp!

That said, progress is coming along for Chasing Nicole. I won’t be releasing it until the end of October since it follows Loving Amari, but trust me—Nicole’s story is worth the wait.

For the rest of the year, I’ll be living on the vampire side, but I’ve got plans to sprinkle in a bear shifter short or two along the way. Wintermoon Cruise? Bear Shifters? Confident Plus-Size FMC? Oh yes, it’s calling my name 🔥🐻.

I’ll be back with more updates soon, but until then, happy reading! 🕯️📖

Resisting Damon is one of my current WIPs on Patreon! This is one of only two interracial stories I’ll write under Tessa Stone. Damon and Selene’s book won’t be published on Amazon—it’ll be available exclusively on my website in eBook and paperback formats.

Selene is an assassin, born and trained by an elite agency created by the elder Blackwood coven. Aya Bailey, a relentless hunter of the supernatural, was determined to destroy the Blackwoods. To protect their most precious assets, including The Book of the First, the Blackwoods created this agency. The Book of the First was the same spellbook that ultimately destroyed Aya.

Angie sends Damon to retrieve the book, which leads him to his fated mate, Selene. She’s fierce, calculating, and a true warrior—something Damon notices right away. What follows is a dangerous dance of battle and passion. But Selene is no match for the pull of the mate bond or Damon’s irresistible charm. Despite all she’s been taught to stand against, Selene falls hard for the elder vampire.

I’m currently on chapter 12 of their story. Resisting Damon is a short novella about how they meet, but I have plans for a second story where Selene becomes a vampire and gets her happily-ever-after with Damon! Until then, follow along as I write this deadly and passionate love story, and discover just how unhinged Damon can be when it comes to Selene.
