Alright, let’s get back to work! Two more books before I take a break from Wintermoon—and I’m ready. ✍🏾

I’m on a break from my reader group until both books are finished. I’m no longer available for on-the-spot questions, but I will be hosting a one-hour live Zoom meeting once a month via Patreon. Make a list of your questions and I’ll answer as many as I can during that time. I need a break from peopling to focus on writing. I can feel my autistic sensory overload building, so let me go sit down somewhere.

Claiming Aya—I’m about 80% finished with this one. I’m introducing the Merfolk. Wintermoon is getting mermaids!🧜🏾‍♀️ Ezra and Aya have a complicated love story that will be interesting and frustrating to read. Josiah also appears in this book. He’s back working as a deputy for Wintermoon and just so happens to be writing his own healthy habits book. His beautiful Layla is determined to make sure his debut becomes a bestseller—even if that means terrorizing the residents to ensure his release day goes smoothly.

The Blackwoods—this one has been tough to write. I’m not used to juggling more than two POVs, and this one has four: mostly Angie, Carla, and Josiah. Anora only has a few chapters. But I’m ending Wintermoon with a bang. A big one. You’ll see major character growth in Josiah as he rises to become King of Wintermoon. I’m about 30% in after doing a full rewrite when the original direction didn’t get the reaction I hoped for. So we’re starting over.

I’m writing both books live on Patreon. You can watch everything unfold as I develop the stories, and both books will be dropping soon. I’m officially finished with graduate school, which means I have a lot more free time to write. ✨📚
